Usernames and Passwords were emailed at NOON on 8-17-2020 to parents/guardians of all returning students. 7th Annual Stuff a Bus School Supply Drive will be hosting a Stuff a Bus With School Supplies campaign from Monday August 24th - Friday, August 28th. Donations should be placed in the bus which will be located at 27575 Harper (Wheat Educational Campus). Donated items - new backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, glue sticks, etc. will be given to children in our schools who are in need of school supplies this year. COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan Details The health and safety of Macomb County students and staff remains a top priority as we prepare to reopen schools for the 2020-21 school year. Lakeview Public School’s leadership collaborated with the Macomb Intermediate School District to develop this Preparedness and Response Plan. Lakeview is committed to serving our students and families and delivering a high quality education while keeping everyone healthy and safe. Our ultimate goal is to safely return to face-to-face instruction, as we know this is the optimal learning environment for students. However, during this global pandemic, we recognize the importance of providing a variety of learning options. Lakeview’s Board of Education and Administration utilized staff, parent, and community input to determine several of the specific, major decision points in our plan; those decisions are reflected throughout this document. Our plan addresses how schools will operate during Phases 1-6 of the states reopening process. On August 4, 2020 the Lakeview Board of Education approved the COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan with a unanimous vote. In the event that a shift becomes necessary, Lakeview will be able to fluidly transition among instructional options. We look forward to the 2020-21 school year and providing our students with equitable, rigorous instruction in a safe environment.
